My Photo Journal
Kirsten gave us all a good idea to do our own photo journal. I think it may bring out a talent in all of us if we try it. Thanks Kristen!

PASSED
Well I did it, I passed all my test. But I do have one more thing before I can be certified for another 2 years. I have to go get my CPR card renewed, and that is simple. So for another 2 years I will be certified and doing nothing with it. But look on the bright side, I will be making food at Taco Time which in turn will give me job security if I ever decide to do training again. If you catch what I am saying. I know I'm bad.

A Compromise
But the stipulations are as follows:
1. He can only come inside when Buck is at work.
2. He can come in at night when we relax. ( Doesn't that brake rule #1? Hey he made the rules)
3. He can't sleep in the house at night.
So there we go. I get my cat back!

I want a Pom
So lately I have been trying to talk Buck into letting me get a little dog. I have been wanting a little cuddly. The one I want is a little bigger than this and has the coloring of a Husky. He is so cute! Buck told me today that he will think about it, but I am not going to press the issue. But I hope I can get him. Nuttles cried when we were leaving the pet store. She wanted to hold one. It was really cute, but sad at the same time.I have tonight of work, only because I have Super Tuesday at church tonight. The only reason I get to go is because I have a station to do. It is all Christmas stuff! It should be fun....
So anyways wish me luck with trying to get a little cuddly.

Well this is what I have been doing. Studying for my Certification! Every two years I have to renew it, keep me up to date. Even though I am not doing anything with it right now, I hope that soon I will be able to do more. I just don't want to lose it and start all over again. I have about four test to take and I have about two done. One I had to send in, so I won't know if I passed that for another two weeks. It was on Nutrition. Complicated, I will tell you. Some of it over my head.I have also been working at the store quite a lot. I hope to be able to stop that when Buck takes it over for his dad.
Also, I just wanted to say something about the outcome of the election. I haven't said anything of recent because I am very opinionated and have very strong views. I had to hold back my emotions because I knew that I may hurt some friends because of it. I may not agree or understand why. But I do know that I need to be respectful of others, even though I may not agree or like what they have to say. And it goes for everyone. We are all not going to agree on everything. But one thing I do know is that we agree on the gospel of Jesus Christ and that is the most important. We need to remember who is really in control of the destiny of this beautiful country. Our heavenly father has a plan and it is set in motion. What all these candidates say or do will not matter in the long run. We need to stop the judgements and put hurt feelings aside and be here for one another.

Well hey why not, we are YES people!

Yes, that is right. If you need anything just ask us because we are YES people.
That is what Buck told our 2nd counselor in the Bishopric as they were about to ask me if I would accept a new calling. Before I could say anything it was a yes. I know it is an unwritten rule in our church that you always accept a calling. You never turn it down. But I tell you what, No more primary for me. I can't do it anymore and I am sorry but that is where the YES stops, and the N.O. NO begins. Nuttles goes into Nursery all by herself in a couple weeks and so I figured they were lying and waiting for her to turn a year and a half and then they would jump at the chance to throw me back into primary. Yes throw me!
So as I am waiting for the counselor to tell me that I will be a primary teacher, he asked me to be the YW Ward Camp Leader. Blind sided, I didn't see that coming. Buck chuckled as he heard that. I hated girls camp growing up. I always got hurt. One year I sliced the whole bottom of my foot on some girls tent stake, because she didn't put it in the ground all the way. Oh and one year a girl threatened me with a tent stake. What is it with that! It was horrible....
But Yes I will do it, cause I am a YES person.
I am trying to be optimistic, it will be fun.....Kristen if you would like to move down here, I will gladly resign and you can be the YW ward camp leader. It is always up for grabs :)

A Tribute

I was talking to my best friend Kris the other day for the first time in a while. We normally text one another but she had a request for me. Five years ago our friends died in a tragic accident. Kris wanted me to write about a memory that I had with Aston and BJ. Kris was closer to them then I was, but in one year they became like family to me. It was when I lived in Utah that my family grew. We were always doing crazy things with one another. It was the best time of my life. I not only gained friends for life but I gained a family. They took care of me while I was away from my family. Momma Beal would always make me egg sandwiches before heading off to school. And sometimes they would bring me leftovers to my apartment for me. Taco Bell was getting old!I just wanted to say thank you and I love you guys tons. For BJ and Ashton, I love you guys and thank you for always getting me to do fun, adventurous things. For having me float down the Provo without a life jacket (I don't really know how to swim) For climbing through the narrows and repelling off huge cliffs into the lake, because Kris's brother wouldn't let us cliff jump. Thank you for the hug that calmed me in an instant, that gave me the courage to do things I would have never done without all of you.

Tagged! 6 Things you may have not known...
Kristen tagged me! Thanks Friend :)
So heres how it works....
Link to the person who tagged you.
Post the rules on your blog.
Write six random things about yourself.
Tag six people and let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
(Don't forget to come back and tell me you completed this tag!)
I thought I would add some pics!
So here are the 6 random things about me:
1. I love the smell of fresh cut grass!
2. I really don't like working out! Go figure, I'm a personal trainer.
3. I love to sleep, if I could I would do it all day.
4. I have really low self-esteem.
5. I love High high Heels, if I see a pair that are really high, I have to buy them. I don't wear them though (Ok only on Sunday). I wear flip flops the most but not to church that is the rule :)
6. If I could be an Old Lady with like twenty cats, I would!
Who should I tag? OK...So, Messica, Cindy, Terra, Lisa, Gina, Kirsten

Do I dare?

Ok lady's I have a question. I am so tired of not being the fun happy crazy Jen. I feel dragged down and am ready for something new. I love Pink! Not the color, the artist. I love how she is so free and fun and lets loose. So here is my question. Should I cut my hair like hers? And if yes do you think it would look good and can I pull it off?
Just to get it straight I'm not saying she is a good role model, I just love her hair. No tattoos, none of that junk . Just the hair!)

Sick and tired of being tired
It has been a while only because my husband is a slave driver. He lost one of his supervisors to a long boarding accident and little ceasers. So guess who has to close three nights a week and work every morning, thats right me. I just got off work and I am tired.
Kirsten I am so sorry I couldn't make it to your baby shower. I wish I could have been there. I know it would have been fun.
Mom, I will put the camping pictures up tomorrow. We didn't take that many!

The Ultimate Dad Award
As long as Nuttles has been alive, I have always been the one to get up with her on Sunday mornings, well everyday for that matter. But yesterday Buck let me sleep in. He got up with Nuttles and fed her breakfast and made sure that I was able to get the rest that I needed. It was a big deal for me, cause that never happens. Brownie points for Buck.
So when I woke up I let Buck know that he had won the Ultimate Dad award. You are probably wondering what that is, it is clear but here's the story:
So there is a wonderful couple in our ward who have the most well behaved children. And every Sunday I see the husband running around doing his calling and taking great care of the Little's. The wife does a fantastic job to, but she needs a break, cause she is due any day now. Anyways I call this Husband the Ultimate Dad. Maybe hoping Buck would catch on, hoping that he could be a little more helpful, which he is doing and a fantastic job at that. So instead of the Ultimate Dad award going to the reigning champ, Buck won it yesterday. Congrats Buck, sorry Dave and Cindy ;)

How true it is!

The Veteran building is in my town and sometimes the Veterans come out and stand on our busy streets and show support to our Troops. As I was heading home today they were out there showing their love and respect for the men that serve this wonderful country. There was this one man holding a sign that read; "They died to set men free". I have never been hit so hard with overwhelming gratitude and love for what our courageous brethren do. Before I knew it the tears were flowing down my face as I realized how true that statement is. Our forefathers fought for our rights and our freedoms so that we would have a choice and a life to choose for ourselves. Those freedoms that they fought so hard for are being taken away everyday little by little, so some may not notice. I may not agree with this war that we are in, but I support it and stand by it. Because if we don't support it, then we do not support our troops. I don't care if you disagree with that, but it is true. Our troops believe in what they are doing and they did it for us and are still doing it. They took what our forefathers gave them and chose to fight for this beautiful country. All of us should respect that. Without them we would have nothing.

Family Fun
Over the Labor day weekend, for the first time we took a family camping trip. Ok so it was just an overnighter and yeah Messica wasn't there, and we wish you could have been there Mess. Anyways, we went to Honeyman and spent the night there. My dad made a wonderful dinner. It was chicken pot pie cooked in the dutch oven. It was so yummy! Most of the time we relaxed around the camp fire, until it was bed time. Nuttles crashed early in Grandpa's arms. So we headed to bed. The only problem was the campers next to us were all drunk and making way to much noise. Plus from a distance you could hear a little one screaming and it was bad . It sounded so close and it went on for like an hour. It was horrible, I felt so bad for the little one. I was shocked that the parents of the little one, let it go on for as long as it did. It had to be eleven o'clock at night. It was sad!
The next morning, Buckland made us all breakfast. Eggs, bacon (I cooked the bacon :P ), French toast and potatoes with ham, green peppers and onions. It was so good, but so filling. We then packed up after a little while and headed to the beach. First we stopped off and rode a huge dune buggy. That was fun, though it did make Buck really want a quad to ride at the dunes. So ever since then, he has been looking at quads online. After that we grabbed lunch and headed to the beach. Everyone kind of did there own thing. Jay built a nice little shelter because the wind was so bad, but it was gorgeous. Buck and Dad flew the kite a little and mom and I looked for shells. The beach we were at; I had found 3 full sand dollars there once and I was hoping I would get lucky again. At one point Nuttles wanted to fly the kite so Buck let her. The wind was so strong that it started dragging her and finally she let go and hit the ground. It was so cute and funny at the same time. The bad part was that when she let go Buck and Dad had to try and catch the kite. After that she didn't want to fly the kite again. We had a wonderful time! I can't wait till next year to do it again.

Circus

Last night the fair grounds in our town were having the circus. Buck decided that we should go as a family, because rarely, with work and all we don't really get out to do a lot of fun things. I was kind of hesitant, but we went. To our surprise it was better than we thought. Right when the circus started and the announcer came on it startled Nuttles so bad that it, well, I won't say it because some of you may think that it is crude. So I am sure that some of you may figure out what happened but I will leave it at that. :) Anyways after a while she really started to warm up to it. It was pretty loud and her eyes were huge. When the animals came out, that is when she really loved it. But she made doggy noises with every animal. We are going to have to work on that. My favorite was of course the Ellenuts. Yes the Ellenuts! There was one crazy entertainer, he was like 14 maybe 15. He was double jointed everywhere and could move his body in ways we couldn't imagine. He put his whole body through a tennis racket. Yeah that's right, he went through a tennis racket. And he wasn't little. Skinny but tall!
So Yeah that was our Friday night! We had a good time. So if you ever think of going to the circus, you should. Great family fun.

Everything is normal
Well everything was normal this morning when I checked. No doors open, no barking last night. We were kept safe. So last night Bair slept in the house as normal. No unusual activity to report.
I would have to guess that the night before, for some reason Bair was suppose to be outside for the night. If there was something or someone trying to get in, then my hyper crazy dog kept them away. I am so thankful to have him. He is a pain in my rear but he is sweet and I feel safe with him.

This one is for Emily.
Hey Emily, I am glad to hear from you. I tried to click on your link but it wouldn't take me anywhere so I have to write this to you as my post. Yeah the Great Dane is my mother-in-laws. They are really great dogs. Ha Ha I just got that Great Dane, Great Dog! Anyways the only problem is that they slobber really bad. And I mean really bad. It is everywhere, you can find it on the walls, on the ceilings it just flies everywhere. Max is a sweet dog, he is really great with kids, and very protective. Well, I just started on the second book, I think I am on chapter 2 or 3. It has been really hard to read this week with work and house cleaning.
We should get together sometime. I better get, but have a good night and well you probably won't get this tonight, tonight so maybe have a wonderful day. I will talk to you soon. Love Jen

Am I just a parnoid weirdo?
Well I can't really figure it out. Here is the story:
I kind of have OCD, only when it comes down to locking the doors at night. I check every door at least 4 time before I fall asleep. Sometimes when I get in bed I will get up again just to check the doors over one more time. I know its crazy but I can't help it. Buck thinks I have been watching to many of my shows. (First 48, Cold case files, etc) Anything that has to do with criminal justice. I always wanted to be a detective. But anyways back to my story. So last night I brought the dog in for bed time, and as we went to bed he kept whining and whimpering, so I got up and put him out back for the night and checked the doors once again.
This morning I went into the garage to get Bair his food and noticed that the back door leading to the garage was open. Only slightly though, cause we have one of those sticks that push up under the door knob, and also a latch at the very top of the door. But the door wasn't shut. It was slightly open. You can imagine what is going through my head. So I talk to Buck about it when I got to work and of course he told me to lay off of the shows. But he did say at 3 in the morning that Bair was barking at something. Then he proceeded to tell me that most crimes happen between 11pm and 1am. Whatever Buck, they happen when the person decides it is going to happen. But anyways on to something more uplifting here is some cute pics of Nuttles with my mother-in-laws dog, Max!

Camping on the coast!
All the other pictures are Nuttles at the beach. It was gorgeous, warm and beautiful. So a lot of the pictures are Nuttles playing in the sand. One will be Nuttles holding a long string of seaweed. It kind of grossed me out and some of you may wonder why, but I don't like slimy things. But I thought it was funny, and plus it looked like it could have been a pet snake wrapped around her neck. I took like two hundred pictures at the beach. I just kept taking them. My Sister-in-law laughed at me. I didn't want to miss a moment. But we had a fun time, we are going to do it every year. It is our new tradition!
